JR Programmer V2

The JR Programmer V2 is a compact USB programming tool designed for working with compatible Xbox 360 NANDs and diagnostic/programming hardware.

It provides fast NAND read/write capability and can also be used to program a range of compatible devices, making it a useful tool for Xbox 360 repair, servicing and development work.

A pin header is included to make connection to compatible boards and devices easier.

Depending on firmware and setup, the JR Programmer V2 can be used with compatible hardware including:

• CoolRunner revisions
• ACE V3
• ACE V4.1

• Other compatible Xilinx-based programming boards

USB Connection

A Mini USB cable is required to connect the JR Programmer V2 to your computer.

Please note this uses Mini USB, not Micro USB or USB-C.

USB cable is not included.

Important Usage Information

The exposed pins on the underside of the programmer must not be allowed to touch conductive metal surfaces while powered, as this can cause a short circuit and permanently damage the board.

We recommend insulating the underside using:

• Kapton tape
• Electrical insulation tape
• A suitable non-conductive enclosure or covering

Bootloader Mode

The JR Programmer can occasionally remain in bootloader mode, particularly after using the onboard mode switch.

If the status LED remains permanently red and the programmer is no longer operating normally, the firmware may need to be reflashed.

This can be performed using J-Runner, which includes compatible JR Programmer firmware.
