Viper Dual NAND V2 for Xbox 360

The Viper Dual NAND V2 is the updated successor to the original Viper Dual NAND, designed for compatible Xbox 360 16MB NAND motherboards.

It provides a cleaner and more compact dual-NAND installation using a QSB-style design, reducing the amount of wiring normally required and allowing easy switching between NAND configurations.

Compatibility

On its own, the Viper Dual NAND V2 is designed for:

• Xbox 360 Trinity

With the appropriate Viper adapter, it can also be used with:

• 16MB Corona motherboards
• Compatible Xbox 360 Phat motherboards

Adapters are sold separately where required.

Chip Compatibility

The Viper Dual NAND V2 supports:

• Compatible 3.3V glitch chips using suitable timing files
• Compatible 5V ACE V3 hardware using supported 15432 timing files

Always confirm chip and timing-file compatibility before installation.

Important Trinity Information

When used with certain RGH3 Trinity configurations, retail NAND boot behaviour is limited by the installation method.

If separate retail and modified NAND booting is required on Trinity, a compatible RGH 1.2 chip-based installation may be required instead.

Corona Information

Compatible Corona boards can support dual-NAND operation when used with the correct Viper adapter and suitable installation method.

Installation

Installation requires:

• Console disassembly
• Fine soldering
• Correct motherboard identification
• NAND backup and programming knowledge
• Compatible timing configuration

Professional installation is recommended.

Important Information

Always create and verify a working NAND backup before making changes.

Incorrect installation or NAND programming may prevent the console from booting.
