Xbox 360 Slim PLL & POST QSB

This compact PLL and POST QSB from The Mod Shop is designed for compatible Xbox 360 Slim Trinity and Corona motherboards.

The PLL point used for certain installations is extremely small and can be difficult to solder to directly. This QSB provides a cleaner installation by connecting to the original motherboard points and giving the installer larger, easier-to-access solder pads for PLL and POST.

Included Resistors

Each QSB is supplied with two 0805 SMD resistors:

• 1K resistor – for compatible Corona installations
• 3K resistor – for compatible Trinity installations

Use the correct resistor for the motherboard and installation method being used.

Postfix Adapter Installations

If your motherboard requires a Postfix Adapter, the POST connection on this QSB is not used.

Instead, connect the Postfix Adapter directly to the appropriate POST endpoint while using the QSB for the required PLL connection.

Installation

This is a precision soldering component intended for experienced installers.

Installation requires:

• Console disassembly
• Fine-tip soldering equipment
• Flux
• Correct motherboard identification
• Suitable microsoldering experience

Although the QSB makes the final connection easier, the original motherboard points are still small and can be damaged by excessive heat or prolonged soldering.

Important Information

• Confirm your motherboard revision before installation
• Use the correct resistor value for your installation
• Avoid excessive soldering temperature and contact time
• Physical or heat damage caused during installation is not a manufacturing fault
