LTU2 Replacement PCB for Xbox 360 Slim Lite-On DVD Drives

The LTU2 PCB is a replacement drive controller board for compatible Xbox 360 Slim Lite-On DVD drives, including the DG-16D4S and DG-16D5S.

It is intended for replacement or repair situations where the original DVD-drive PCB has failed or where a replacement drive needs to be correctly paired back to the console.

DVD Key Programming

Xbox 360 DVD drives are paired to the console using a unique DVD key.

To use a replacement LTU2 PCB, the correct key and firmware information must be programmed to the board using suitable tools and software.

Depending on the console and drive revision, the required information may be obtained from the original drive or from a verified NAND/KV backup.

Optional Programming Service

If required, we can supply the LTU2 PCB programmed with compatible firmware using the DVD key and information you provide.

For the most accurate results, we recommend verifying the drive information from the console's NAND/KV data rather than relying solely on the label fitted to the drive, as drives may previously have been replaced or updated.

Where applicable, additional files such as CR.bin and KEY.bin may also be useful for verifying the correct configuration.

Important Compatibility Information

A replacement drive PCB must contain the correct console-specific information before the DVD drive will operate correctly.

In some cases, information stored on the original drive PCB may also be required. If this data cannot be recovered, programming a replacement board may not fully restore the original drive functionality.
