Send-In Console Deep Clean Service

Our Deep Clean Service is an optional add-on for customers already sending a console to us for repair, upgrade or other workshop work.

By default, send-in consoles receive a light clean to remove loose dust and debris before work begins. This service goes much further and brings the console up to the same cleaning standard we apply to our professionally prepared systems.

This service is not available as a standalone cleaning service.

Service Includes

• Full console disassembly
• All removable plastic parts cleaned and dried
• Internal chassis thoroughly cleaned
• Heatsink removed from the motherboard
• Cooling fan removed and cleaned
• Old thermal paste removed
• Heatsink surfaces prepared for fresh thermal compound
• Internal dust and debris removed from accessible areas
• Console carefully reassembled after cleaning

Ideal For

• Heavily dusted consoles
• Older consoles that have never been internally cleaned
• Consoles with restricted airflow caused by dust build-up
• Customers wanting their console professionally cleaned while it is already in our workshop
• Refurbishment and preventative maintenance

Thermal Paste

As part of the deep clean, the existing thermal paste is removed from the processor and heatsink surfaces.

Fresh thermal compound should be applied before final reassembly where required as part of the associated repair or service.

Important Information

• Available only as an add-on to an existing send-in console service
• Not available as a standalone mail-in cleaning service
• Cleaning does not repair unrelated hardware faults
• Cosmetic marks, staining or permanent discolouration may remain after cleaning
• Results depend on the original condition of the console

Your console will be returned internally cleaned, refreshed and ready for continued use.
