Replacement HOP-141X / HOP-141B laser lens assembly for compatible Xbox 360 PHAT DVD drives.

This replacement laser is suitable for repairing drives suffering from common optical drive faults such as:

• Discs not being recognised
• Intermittent disc reading
• Excessive seeking or clicking
• Difficulty loading games or DVDs
• Failed or weak original laser assemblies

Before ordering, please check the model of DVD drive fitted to your console, as Xbox 360 PHAT systems were supplied with different drive and laser types.

Installation Information

The DVD drive must be dismantled to replace the laser assembly.

Some replacement laser units are supplied with an anti-static solder bridge fitted for protection during transport. If present, this solder bridge must be removed before installation or the laser will not operate.

Professional installation is recommended if you are not experienced with optical drive repair or soldering.
